Seriously...I've been thinking, we need to pay attention to this china thing.

A few key points...


I am certain that it is a mechanism for JO to unload some leased 200's.

The chances of more than a few mesa check airmen being employed in china is low.

This may be due to anticipated loss of codeshare flying.

It also may be a means of upgrading 200's to 700/900's...this could make JO more competetive to win new flying.

If mesa operates with chinese pilots, they would probably have to be part of the MAG union! DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! Imagine 1000 communist pilots willing to work for one bag of rice/month...now imagine them VOTING in MAG ALPA elections... JO would own that pilot group far more so than he does today! Does ALPA have provisions to prevent foriegn labor groups from hijacking ALPA MEC's? Serious question here....
