it got out of hand real fast. besides who knew in the early 1990s that a stretched diminutive corporate jet and a jet version of a problematic foreign turboprop all seating a meager 50 seats would unseat a 737?
And who knew that not every aircraft in an airlines fleet had to be flown the same as the 727!
