Yeah, there are so many great jobs out there, perhaps I ought to split. On second thought, with a kid in college, with no retirement and in my 50s I'd rather just hang around and annoy all the Marvins that I fly with. The guys dying to release the parking brake to get the on time, flip on channel 9, carry write ups to the hub, wait another 20 mins for hotel van, etc. etc etc.

When furloughed in 03, it took me FOREVER to get a lousy job. Flying a 57 internationally I was paid $34,000/year. Yessir, lets build some more multi time! And with UAL on your resume, that's about all you're going to get. I love to see the look on Marvins face when I tell them what the rest of the industry is willing to pay.
