That qualifies as luck, not a good safety record.
No engine fires, no excursions that I know, and the only landing gear issue we had was from a line guy trying to tow a King Air with the parking brake still engaged - - - oh - - - and not an airline. As for the first two years out of the 3 questioned - well....more than Allegiant has I can assure you that.....but still not an airline
The NTSB database only shows one accident (failed NLG) and one incident (runway incidient with ATC faulted, not the airline) since 2002. It would seem that with all of these accidents / incidents that you mention that there would be more.

I see some web articles, personal blogs, etc...about failed engines and FAA safety awards and such.
Are problems in flight (like a failed engine) that don't end up in a smoking hole (thank goodness far and few between) not reported anywhere - even if an emergency was decalred; which I am of course assuming that emergencies were reported with this type of failure.
Fish - I understand that you seem to have some axe to grind with a non-union carrier, but is their safety record (and I'm talking accidents/incidents per flight hour ratio here) at the bottom of all Major/LCC/Cargo carriers or does this non-union carrier just hold a special dark place in your heart?
