Tsquare, all of this is absolutely true imho.

What's going on here was Hockey vented about pay here versus there and was told why don't you quit and go there, their application window is open.

Which surprisingly was not warmly received. Because today SWA pays 30% more than we do for the similar mission 88 pilots for the same longevity not to mention they equal 747 pay. So if pilots are castigated for making that observation then it makes some of us wonder what the C2012 goal will be?

I mean we should (at the least) be able to say equal pay for the 88 and SWA 737 and that's not even taking into account 150-160 seats vs their 137.

And if asked, what are we willing to give up? First, we'll give up anyone who asks that question and second, we already gave up on scope.

So we pre-paid our raise to equal pay with SWA.
