Money has a direct bearing on QOL. Look, I'm not saying that QOL/work rules are not important. By all means, they are. But try to keep it in perspective. Would you REALLY rather improve our current work rules (which by the way, was one of the biggest selling points for our BK agreement... remember, "but at least we saved the work rules?") and keep our BK/emergency pay where it is? I just cannot believe any significant number of us would want that.
Pay starts at sign in and stops at the hotel. Min day of 6.5. That would drive trip construction that minimize sits and and long layovers. Better reserve rules, heck just some rules would be nice. Implement those and I'd be happy with the current rates and scheduled raises. I bet those would put more in your W2 and give you more days home than big rate raises.
