For the record, DOH, IS the worst idea ever!
Adjwings, how is DOH the worst idea ever? I think it is a very FAIR way to merge 3 regional airlines. We are not career-majors like Delta or Northwest. I think DOH is very equitable, and FAIR, since it is the ONLY method that PROPERLY CREDITS YOU FOR THE TIME SERVED AT YOUR OWN AIRLINE.

Let me try to make a case for relative seniority as best I can. And how it really can't hurt someone in your situation. You said your close to upgrade right? Good.
Is it fair to say that on any pilot group you can divide the list by 2 and come up with a number that represents the halfway point? So when you get to that midway point your probably getting real close to upgrading right?
So for you to be close to upgrade you are probably near the 50 % mark.
If they go by relative seniority your STILL that close to upgrade!
I think a lot of guys are forgetting that not only are we growing the list we are also increasing the amount if airplanes.
Being 150 on a list of 300 is EXACTLY the same as being 1500 on a list of 3000. Don't focus on how many people are ahead of you. Focus on where you are on the list. There's a lot more airplanes and opportunities now.
