Nice try HMP, but you came up a bit short of answering the question. The question was, "how is it my fault that the unions of legacy carriers gave up the farm on scope while I was in high school/college." Until you answer that, I just can't respect your opinion. It is not my fault they voted on crappy contracts. RJ's SHOULD be flown by the majors, I believe even the 50's should, but your generation wouldn't let that happen. Stop blaming us. Bottom line here is, I'm doing exactly what is necessary to get the experience to fly at a major. Unfortunately because of reasons outside my control, I'm building my experience in a CRJ. If I limited my job search to airlines that fly ONLY props, my selection would've been extremely limited. Anyway I still wait for a legitimate response as to how I was supposed to affect the scope clauses at majors.
