I'm not suggesting that anyone give people in my situation any specific thought with regard to the SLI but there are lots of us who certainly aren't low timers getting hired with wet commercials...

This is about seniority.
Seniority at any particular company has to do with when you were hired at that company.
I'm sorry you've hit bad times, I've been furloughed myself, but I didn't expect any seniority gain when I started at the company for any reason.
My whole point is, you put your years in any company, you get benefit for that fact.
I dont like the idea that someone just because they are higher relatively at company B may get a break on the years I've worked hard for.
