I got the type at Higher Power back in Oct. 2005. There were nine of us in class. I just got the call for an interview; going in Jan. The first guy to get interviewed in my class was my training partner ( corp. guy flying a Challenger, and a great guy, too). He went in Dec. 2005. Didn't get hired. The next two guys to go a few months later were regional guys flying the RJ. One got hired, the other didn't. Next was a NWA guy (not furloughed), he went in the middle of summer 2006; didn't get hired. I'm not sure about the rest of the guys in my class. All were civilian and all were real stand-up guys. Like everyone else, I don't know what sets one person apart from the other. My guess, though, is that with so much hiring going on indefinitly, you most likely will here something eventually.
