By the time that post was made, I was already in at Pinnacle, and there's a difference between our class date and hire date. I wanted to know where exactly I stood as far as getting a certain base (DTW). Don't you dare judge me when you don't know a damn thing about me. As an internal hire, my time at Pinnacle was before Jan 18, 2007, when your sorry excuse of an airline was purchased by us. I went afterwards as an internal-hire into a Pinnacle class date. The interview wasn't even an interview, it was a formality basically.

Left where? NO one was hiring in the recession. And how will "other people" pay for my career decisions? I'm just saying DOH, and you STILL HAVE NOT GIVEN A REASON NOT TO DO DOH! I do not get how DOH hurts Colgan "career expectations"? Ha, if I can even use "Colgan" and "career expectation" in the same sentence....

Damn right! Cause of us, your sorry airline was able to grow. I don't know anyone who went to Colgan when they could have gone to other bigger, better regionals. The only Colganites I know that went there were rejects (no offense, the Marvin types). People who couldn't make the cut anywhere but luckily got in and passed at Colgan.

And toilet cleaning for me? Is that the best you can do as an insult? Try again, Marvin!
ShyGuy, you really need to start living up to your name (which I bet works great on Match.com).

You were hired as a PILOT AFTER the purchase. You made a CAREER DECISION to move from you dispatcher or scheduler position to pilot after seeing where the Qs were going.

When you took your "formality" interview, everyone was hiring. Oil didn't go nuts for another two years. You made a choice. Now you need to live with the results of your decision, just as I need to live with mine. If the integration does not go my way, I will deal with it. If the integration does not go your way, how will you react? Based on your "rejects" comment, I can only imagine.

The one good thing for me is no matter how badly I get screwed in the SLI turns out, I'll never have to fly with a former dispatcher or, worse yet, scheduler.
