Pilots are already flying the 737, 757, and the 767 for $29.97/hr for one whole year AND with no medical benefits for the first 6 months.


That's the reality called Continental Airlines.


And about your comment about taking the Saab "out of principle" , I call BS on that one.


All the new hire Ealge F/Os I know that got the Saab were:

1. Natives/living in DFW/LAX area, and wanted short reserve time as opposed to the jets, or

2. Were 'forced' the Saab because the jets were picked by the more senior (older) pilots in the first day of class.


You fit one of those two categories.


Who are you BSing with your 'picked the Saab on principle' comment?
