Again, when the flood gates open after SLI is complete that may change...We have guys on the Saab at XJ that have been on reserve coming on over 3 years now...the fact that Colgan is having a hard time getting people in the door may help you there...but dont have any expectations...At the time, I came to XJ with 11 CR9's and no reserve in sight...3.5 years later, I'm bidding bottom 10% on the airplane, you just never know what will happen...
You know, that's a really valid point and I had been meaning to ask about that. I know they're taking deliveries of the Q through, what, April, which explains why that's what they're hiring into. And I suppose it's less of a divergence pay wise with the new contract, but aren't there a fair amount of 9L and even XJ Saab guys who would bid into the Q, barring any remaining seat lock of course. I'm sure some guys are happy in their base, but if they move Qs to MSP, DTW, or DEN (which is all rumor obviously), it might shake things up a bit. Just tossing it out there, and I may be way off base, but I'm just curious. Basically I was wondering how the reserve time for 9L new hires on the Q could be so short with all this SLI falling into place. I have a ton of friends at RAH who all just got slaughtered by their SLI.
