I have a current CFI, MEI and II and 12,000 hours, but am not willing to work at the wages they are willing to pay. As much as I miss flying, I will continue to work in other ventures until recalled. I don't think there is a shortage of qualified pilots, I think there is a shortgae of qualified pilots willing to work for what they are paying.
