Well, let's start with the reason for the furlough. The company said the airline was overstaffed so they needed to furlough 300 pilots. After just four months and 109 furloughees(hostages) the furlough was discontinued. So was the company lying or did the amount of volume really increase?
The fact of the matter is Lekites didn't get the concessions from our contract that he wanted. So he punished the IPA by furloughing 109 pilots.
