Another datapoint for you:

I did Sheppard Air for the Written (highly recommended) and All ATP at Trenton for my Practical. Although I only had 3.9 hours in the Seminole by the time I took my checkride, I passed with relative ease...and that's after being in a staff job for the last two years and being a HUD/Flight Director-loving C-17 guy. The Seminole was like going into a time machine and flying my old Tweet again...
