I'm currently at UND, and I looked into Embry Riddle and every other school possible. I feel like I'm getting a bang for my buck. Not only is the aviation department and flight instructors all amazing. The school is also good! There is a difference between regular professors and those in Aviation, but you'll get that anywhere, but in all the entire campus is a lot of fun. They have greek life, and tons of other opportunities to meet people and get a "normal" college experience.

The weather, isn't as bad as I thought it would be, it gets cold, but there are buses that run all day that virtually take you straight to class, a shuttle to the airport, easy access to anything you would possibly need. You learn to fly in different circumstances and at first it's frustrating with all the snow covering check points, but you get phenomenal experience.

People in Grand Forks, are SO nice, you won't understand until you get up here, but people are so polite! It sounds weird but they are always so excited and say hi and smile at you regardless of the situation. I've never seen people so happy when there is tons of snow on the ground!

It may just be my bias, but I'd go UND... overqualified professors and such a good area to live in.

There isn't tons to do... but Canadas an hour away, along with Fargo. They have a movie theatre, bowling, night life, parties, a mall, shopping, and food within a quick ride away!
