First flight BE1900C BOS-BTV. Captain was almost 10 years my junior (I started in aviation a little later in life) asks me what I did before flying, and I admitted I had been an ED nurse he says "my wife just started as an ED nurse in Portland" after that he couldn't do enough to make my first flight flow smooth. He did the takeoff but gave me the landing. By the end of the day (4 legs) I felt like I had been sitting on the tail the whole time. He turned and said don't worry I can already tell you will make it and be sitting in this seat. A year later he was correct. That was 16 years ago.
