There was not a lot of guidance from ALPA about the retiree process. Most of what I learned (HCTC) was on my own or from company correspondences. My advice is to have all your ducks in a row b4 you pull the plug as ALPA will be no help to you at all once you separate from the company.
My situation was not unlike that of other retirees I have spoken with. It is a sad situation and another black mark on the association.
BS. If you ever called the Delta MEC, either before OR after retirement, and asked to speak to the Sr. Benefits Specialist, you'd get all your questions answered.
