According to the Atlas rep during the interview, they have 4000 resumes on file. They have reviewed 1500 of them, interviewed 275 and hired 85 in the past 12 months.
Yes they are picky and may have turned away a few good candidates. That said, they have a VERY thorough interview process and everybody that you come into contact with has one form of input or another in the "score" that they assign to interviewees. So if those "perfect" candidates were horsing around behind the back of the tour guide or disrespectful of the low level office staff who were escorting them around and collecting paperwork, then they would probably not be invited to work there.
