There is an aviation job fair in Vegas this Friday and Atlas will be there. I already have my info in with an internal rec. and plenty of experience. Does anyone believe it's a worth while venture/expenditure?

If you really want the job with Atlas - GO - and tell them you really want to work there.
They will see your efforts and your desire to work for them. Plus they get to know you a little bit; see your face and be able to put a name to it. I wish I had had the opportunity to do that. May have gotten pulled out of the stack much earlier.
Assuming you meet their minimums, the cost will be money well spent if you get hired.
Plus, you can network with other airlines as a backup plan.
