They will see your efforts and your desire to work for them. Plus they get to know you a little bit; see your face and be able to put a name to it. I wish I had had the opportunity to do that. May have gotten pulled out of the stack much earlier.
Assuming you meet their minimums, the cost will be money well spent if you get hired.
Plus, you can network with other airlines as a backup plan.

I'd LOVE to work for Atlas and did just that. I went and spoke to D. at WAI twice last month, internal letter of rec, all of the preferred mins then some. Still, after 10+ months of updating, no call. Maybe too soon, I know. Understand it is probably a numbers thing, and my narrow perspective is lacking the bigger picture, but at this point I really think they just randomly pick names from a hat. Not trying to be a skeptic, but after going through other selection processes in my career (AF UPT,UAL, etc), I'm just not convinced they have some special system in place. Of course if/when I get a call I will the first on here to sing their praises

On a serious note, anybody know if any furloughees have been interviewed recently? I know their policy towards resigning seniority numbers is changing. Good luck to all- KC
