My buddy got back from re-current on the XJ side. He said D.Wilson talked about the Ipads coming in 4 phases. Within a year, all 4 phases will be implemented with a paperless flightdeck. Captains and FO's will be issued an Ipad every 3 years. No more revisions, manuals, or anything else that is paper that we gotta take around. Your information is correct, that's my understanding as well.
Just a tip to the wise: better make sure you update them before each flight. Zero tolerance. Pilots who don't take the time to update your iPad's
within seconds of the update coming out should fail.....FAIL.... F-A-I-L.....
