I worked at a 141 school for a long time and there are some issues with switching schools that might concern you. If you switch to another 141 school, only 50% of your hours will count toward the PPL. However, since you've already acquired 84 hours you are still above the minimum required hours. I would suggest if you must switch schools, complete the PPL part 61 to avoid the paperwork and headache that comes with 141 training. Like other posters have said, try to complete the PPL at your current school at a later time if possible.
