ALPA just got approval for a CrewPass like system, paid for by the ATA with tests starting in May.

The Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), and the Air Transport Association (ATA) received approval from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for nationwide implementation of a crewmember screening system. The system, jointly sponsored by ALPA and ATA, will tie airline employee databases together in a seamless way, enable TSA security officers to positively verify identity and employment status of crewmembers, and get our members out of the passenger screening lines.
