You know with our propensity to purchase used, I'm curious as to why we buy new jets when we could be grabbing Dash 8-300's or ATR 42s to replace 50 seat jets. Sure they're props but hey, at $109/bb and climbing a few vacation minded passenger whining should be of no concern.



I mean for crying out loud, UsAir is still flying those suckers and one of Piedmont's Dash 8s sets the world record for the airliner with the highest number of cycles every time it takes off.
