Those do not reflect individual compensation which is the issue. All the other policy quotes you reference are fine and dandy if they are followed to the letter and there is not wiggle room for creative interpretation.
At the end of the day individual compensation will tell the story of whether policy is being complied with or interpreted to an individuals advantage -everything else is a deflection.
I'm assuming you do something with the union by your familiarity with the policy - what would you think if it proved correct that you could make 30% more than the average line pilot of the same seniority working in the ALPA office? Would you support that or think it problematic?
