Yep, the CVG lounge is the gold standard. Its the former Crown Room in Cincy. Of course, its so nice, CVG will probably close now.
OTOH, LAX's pilot lounge hasn't had an upgrade since the Western days. We still can't get a cell phone signal and I don't think its been painted since we were flying the Connies.
MSP is a bit worse but that's not saying a whole heck of a lot.
I'll take the MSP lounge over LAX any day. Wireless and a cell phone signal can make all the difference in the world. The chairs are just as stinky. CVG and DTW FTW! I'm not even going to touch the earlier Date of Hire post. Bad ju ju.
