The price on those tickets is good, it's the standby space A part that sucks. This past summer, I paid $180 each for my wife and kids to go round trip from MEM to SAN on AA (I think it was an ID75.) Tough to beat that price on the internet.
However, each way took 2 days with an overnight in DFW, mainly due to full flights between DFW and SAN. The new lower capacity, higher load factor philosophy is killing space A travel.
