Slight correction. We do not "give away" scope, we trade it away.
Look at our negotiations, ziplines and the way scope violations are handled. When the Company violates our contract it is a bargaining event. The fight is never to enforce the contract as much as "what can we get for this?"
If JOB PROTECTION = SCOPE
If SCOPE VIOLATION = BARGAINING EVENT
If BARGAINING EVENT = MONEY for someone
Then Your JOB PROTECTION = MONEY for someone
