Simple - the Delta pilot group is already in ALPA (and unlikely to leave) while RAH is not.

Follow the money - it's been the best advice anyone has given me in life.
ALPA was not chasing membership. Outsourcing our jobs only benefits Teamsters and non union airlines. Just look at the numbers. Based on past performance, they've grown nearly 1,000% in the last decade while ALPA's membership has been declining as airlines leave and ALPA members' work is outsourced.

ALPA's motivation was the same as our motivation at the Delta MEC. We give the orders. Remember we did not want ASA or Comair to be "our" flying. I understand we do not want to take responsibility for the result, but it is what it is.
