I still don't think it's legal. Why would the "FAA authorisation was only granted following an intensive three-month in-flight evaluation" for Executive Jet (read previous post) if it was OK for anyone to use it as an EFB. If it was OK why not have your laptop out. I can carry they same pubs in that too. You do have a good point in that we don't have specific guidance. I'll ask the some people to see if we can get the answer.
