RAH, Pinnacle Air Holdings, and others are a bunch of seperate airlines that happen to be owned by a seperate holding company.
They do not meet that annual revenue threshold unless you take all the revenue from ALL the seperate companies.
For example;
AA and AE each meet that revenue threshold by themselves, yet we don't see Eagle in the majors do we? and rightfully so, since they aren't a major, they're a regional... just like the RAH and PNC.
Frontier isn't a major anymore than Virgin America is; so owning them doesn't cut it either.
This thread belongs in the regionals section.
Perhaps you missed the fact that below/beside MAJOR it says "Legacy, National, and LCC".
Frontier and Midwest branded ops meet that criteria...as does Spirit, Allegient, and even *gasp* Virgin America, all of which have threads dedicated to them in the annals of the lofty APC Majors subforum.
