Read the appeals court decison of Judge Bua's order. The court's will always be a part of the collective bargaining dynamics, the current ridicules TRO clearly demonstrates we have few friends in that arena.
You might not say that if you had to sit in a SFO federal court room, defending against charges of scab harassment. But, I agree, apathy increased significantly as the strikers left the property.
I was one of the "defendants" in SFO Federal Court back in '89 or so. It was quite an experience. The scab whom accused me of "harassment and intimidation" actually had made his notes on hotel note pads.
Ultimately, he lost his case because the judge ruled that he was being ostracized not because he was a scab but because he was a ƥʀɨɔƙ.
