My guess on this is that Colgan will no longer do any hiring. New hires from this point forward would be getting hired to the new Mesaba for positions on the planes that are currently Colgan. It would probably be pretty hard to merge the certificates if Colgan still has people in training.
Yeah that's kind of what I'm hoping for, it would be nice to get into the 200 or 900 and after the integration end up on the PCL side of things. Either way is fine with me, if I can get the saab or Q I'll be happy in what will become the "new" mesaba. This company seems to have a lot of growth potential, and with the contract eventually I will be able to bid for any other airplane/base regardless of which side I am on. Of course this is all assuming I pass the interview in the first place!
