Colgan's current classes are filled with guys that won't be done with training until after SLI (assuming the Arbitrator actually sums things up by 5/15). Someone in managament wised up enough to start hiring directly to XJ's ticket to help streamline things. Word is that most XJ procedures and FOM language will stay put. As a result, Mesaba will be spending quite a bit of money, time, and resources getting all of the current Colgan pilots up to snuff with the differences.

Why not save the hassle and get it done from day one? It's nothing but good news for anyone sitting under the Pinnacolaba umbrella. Any hiring is good hiring, and now is as good a time as ever to join the party with the hiring numbers they are projecting.
