I will refer to this post in 3 years, at that time more than 50+% of the majors will be taking guys with no PIC time, mark my words. It started to happen in 2008 before the industry downturn, it will happen again. I bet 3000TT with 2000 Turbine SIC or PIC and you will get interviews.
FWIW I am a former QX FO who never upgraded and moved on in 2008.
I am sure that everyone here hopes that you are right about the majors in three years, however I believe that the better situations will still be holding out for the guy with 121 PIC over a line FO.
