Never flown one but my boss has casually looked at both the TBM and Meridian to eventually replace our Cirrus.
That's an interesting comparison between the TBM and Meridian. I know the TBM's advantages over the Meridian but if say the flights are under 2 hours, the Meridian for a lot less can do the same as the TBM can't it? < that's a question.

Besides, while the TBM and the Mooney and other similar aircraft have amazing range, who's bladder can last that long?!?

I will say this about range and it plays to the advantages of the PC12 and TBM is that (not taking into account weight limits here) but range allows for fuel tankering. When I managed a Legacy the range allowed me to carry a ton of cheap fuel from our own farm and according to the computers we didn't take a big hit in performance doing it. Of course even if it was a big hit we were buying fuel for around $2-$3/gal cheaper and sometimes $4 cheaper with a farm. So if the MLW/MZFW and so forth allow it, it's nice to have lots of range.
