I have met several people that thought choosing an employer with a fast upgrade was a good idea. That came back to bite them in the arse.
I was after QOL and thought I could handle being an FO for three years instead of two, as long as the pay was better.
So in 8 years I've moved 62% up the Comair seniority list and I'm still 300 numbers from an upgrade. You could say it bit me in the arse too.
