Wording like that in a contract does not leave room for interpretation, its plainly says we were supposed to be paid on the 15th and for whatever reason we were not. That is a violation of the JCBA.
What can we do about? Not much. Hopefully it doesnt happen again.
100% correct, plain english in the JCBA.
I am more so concerned with the number of pilots I here on the forums defending the practice of a company paying their employees when they want. The one new hire who gave a "in their defense" excuse is a joke. The company has screwed with many of our pilots this year regarding pay and they continue to screw up.
There is no excuse for the continued F-ups by this company, no excuse (and I am someone who got paid and I am still upset for those who did not, especially those who are tight on the finances)
