To give you another viewpoint from within Compass, at this particular moment I think Compass is a good choice. Not for the long term, but you aren't safe at any regional long term. Expanding the fleet by 33% is huge, anyone who gets on in the front end of this hiring wave should have about a 2 year upgrade maybe less if Delta hires. Once contract time comes up in a few years things will start to get ugly and you would probably be around to see it. The good side of that is that Delta has about 9 years left in their contract with Compass so barring loopholes and lawyers hopefully we won't have too much risk of loosing flying till then. So far Transstates management hasn't changed too much around here. It doesn't mean I trust them, but I haven't seen my life get worse or anything cause of them, at least not yet. In fact if we hadn't been sold to TSH we'd never be getting new planes in the fleet. Anyone who tells you they know the right chioce is lying, all you can do is take your best guess. Bottom line though Compass is growing right now and Delta will have to hire if not this year certainly next (unless more craziness happens in the industry and we all get hosed.)
