Well I called Sirius this morning. They tried four signal restarts. Nothing. They suggested I call Garmin. The Garmin person thinks the problem is the antenna. So I mailed that into Garmin today. They expect 7-10 days to get the antenna back to me once they get it. Anyways, a bit frustrating when I'm flying now. I guess I got pampered having all the information on board. However, with convective activity picking up, having that stuff gets to be more than a luxury, but a safety tool in my opinion.
Anywas, I called Sirius again and asked if I could put my wx subscription on a hiatus until my antenna gets back. They were super cool about it, no questions asked. So kudos to Sirius.
I will keep you all posted.
