I don't have the book handy but it should be in part 61.

You have to ground yourself if you are too ill to safely fly. Generally you can unground yourself when you feel better if it's a routine illlness (cold, flu, etc). Significant illness or injury requiring medical care would generally require a trip to the AME to get cleared to fly.
