Yes, Spirit typically releases their numbers later than everyone else...sometimes, significantly later.
It stands to reason that Spirit will "post" a profit given their quest to go public; however, there's a big difference between positive net income and positive free cash flow. The free cash flow metric is what we should be concerned with. Net income is too easy to manipulate.
Spirit is still a private company and can use different accounting methods to show "profits." It's apples versus oranges comparing NK to other publicly held airlines.
