Dynasty - from reading it I understood its only for people getting one for the first time who cannot provide the normal proof of citizenship like a birth certificate, etc.
usmcflyr - I agree that its a ton of information that would be very hard if not impossible to put together especially for someone thats lived a long, full life. It is a bit of government overkill and red tape but its not "sneaky big brother" or something to crawl into a "bunker" about. I cant stand the tsa junk at my airport or the hundreds of camera speed traps in my town whose only purpose is to increase revenue, but this just doesnt seem like an infringement on rights or an invasion of privacy to me. just something that some bureaucrat went a little overboard with.
