Heard the same from a line check this week. The Line Check Airman said there were about 20 B757-200's ear-marked over at UAL that were not going to be upgraded (planned to park) 'post merger'.....IF that's true, the 19 'new' NG's would be pretty close to a 'wash'

Just one guys explanation who's obviously more in the 'know' than I.
