Oh and god forbid an ASA guy gives his opinion, jump down their throat immediately. I can understand being ****ed about having to take concessions and the way things have been run over there and getting back what you lost plus some more improvements. But ASA pilots are not the enemy, so stop talking like we are. Your MEC is working with our MEC, to get all of us a good contract. So, I'm sure your concerns are being voiced. So take a chill pill and relax and wait and see what we are presented with first, before getting your panties in a bunch. Rant over.
That's a 2 way street brother. Some of the ASA people need to stop with the "we bought you, so tough sh1t you have to take everything we have" mentality. Like I've said, the ASA contract is weak, no way in hell I want to inherit that thing.

As blastoff mentioned, if ASA people took the time to ACTUALLY educate themselves about the line bid/LIW system that XJT has, they'd be singing a different tune.

Yep, we get it, your previous line bid system sucked. That WASN'T XJT's line bid system. Just like the ASA PBS system is superior to just about every other PBS system out there. But at the end of the day, it's STILL PBS, to include the unstacking language.

Beg to differ. If the JCBA doesn't get back the money XJT lost and then some, and it's voted down, that's just longer the two groups remain separate. That ALSO means it's linger you have to work under your current CBA. Therefore, it IS your problem. Like I said, I'm fine working under my current workrules, I WON'T be fine working under ASA's.
