I somehow managed to figure out the approach and entry quickly so I didn't shoot over the VOR while I was doing, still no bells in my head had gone off yet! I thought if I called for the cruise checklist he would have adjusted to cruise power but he didn't, I guess I needed to touch it first lol. Anyways all my procedures were solid, I made all the corrections and my scan was just a little rusty. I talked a lot so he could tell what my brain was thinking. I know one in our group was sent home because he messed up the hold, turned and it never intercepted. They expect you to be a little nervous, but you do have to figure out your hold and entry on the fly and execute it correctly. Everyone gets a different hold. If you are worried about it, have someone read you holds while you sit in a chair and figure them out in your lap. The sim flies pretty nice for a sim, very stable. Don't forget your checklists and CRM either - use the NFP for everything you can, they want to see this! He will set bugs and radios and courses and everything!
Just curious when did you interview with Eagle? I did mine on the 27th
