As stated, DISCLAIMER: I do not work for any of these three airlines

But I would *hope* that each group's MEC/SLI committee is actually taking these hard lines. They should be providing maximum representation for their pilots - that's why they are there. I hope that Suker and his contemporaries are thinking about what is best for their pilot group, not how being noble can ensure a position in the new world order MEC.

By the way kids (stir #2) you do realize that the post-SLI MEC will be overwhelmingly PCL, don't you? Do the math: How many LECs are there and how will they be combined? PCL > MSA pilots by number in DTW and MEM. ATL offsets MSP and CJC has only the MEC, so don't expect that there will be more than one LEC for those bases. Looks like 3-2 presuming the CJC and MSP interests agree, which seems unlikely since they are probably populated with different ends of the seniority list.
