Your deviation bank is what is printed out on the pairing.
When you deviate they will cancel both legs. If you want to take the scheduled second leg make sure you book it before you deviate, the cost may be a lot higher.
You are technically not protected on the second leg if you deviate even if it is the scheduled leg.
